Description

The Japanese term "Santoku" (San = three, Toku = virtues), which gives this knife its name, refers to its excellent properties for cutting meat, fish and vegetables.

This knife is something very special! It is forged from approx. 40 layers of brass damascus with a cutting edge layer of 1.2519! Due to its extremely low melting point, forging brass is a very careful and time-consuming process, which is reflected in the price. An absolute rarity which I have not yet seen anywhere else. In addition, it has a hollow groove through which most of the cut material no longer sticks, but this knife is exclusively for right-handers!

The handle is made from specially stabilized, 6000 year old Carinthian bog oak and a brass ferrule. It is considerably shorter than "normal" knife handles and virtually "forces" you to pinch grip.

All my blades are strong at the ferrule and very fine at the tip, a strong tapering for maximum cutting performance and stability.

The blades of my hand-forged knives are specially coated and retain their elegant appearance significantly longer than usual. Oiling is no longer necessary—simply dry the blade carefully with the included microfiber cloth after rinsing.

With every knife, you receive a knife pouch, microfiber cloth, certificate, and free shipping.
